Our Abhyas, the global School celebrated national mathematics Day on 22nd December with great enthusiasm to honour Srinivasa Ramanujan The program included special assembly, maths quizzes, puzzles, solving activities and model exhibitions. Students actively participated and showed their mathematical skills. The celebration helps the students understand the practical importance of mathematics and inspired them to overcome the fear of the subject.
National mathematic Day celebrating the birth anniversary of legendary mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan, a genius. In number theory, infinite series and contributionfractions for him immense contribution to mathematics.. to promote Mac Indian government declared as national mathematics Day in 2012 by the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Highlight was a colourful and energetic dances were performed by the students on number songs as a part of national mathematics celebration through graceful moments and creative formation. The dancers beautifully presented numbers patterns, geometrical shapes, and the story on Sri Rama Raju na and mathematical concepts. The performance showed the mathematics is not just about calculation, but about rhythm, creativity and fun. The lively presentation captured the attention of the audience and made the learning numbers enjoyable for everyone.
The parents showed active involvement in the celebration by attending the program and encouraging the participants. They expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the performance and arrangements.
